Peach Almond Tart

Ingredients

230g prepared pastry case or a pastry lined 18cm (7inch) flan case

75g (3oz) almond paste

50g (2oz) sugar

60g (2½ oz) plain flour

25g (1oz) butter or margarine

1 large egg

5ml (1tsp) lemon zest

5ml (1tsp) vanilla extract

425g can DOLE Peach slices in juice , drained

Instructions

Heat oven to 180C (350F) Gas 4.

Crumble  almond paste into a bowl with the sugar, flour, butter, egg, lemon zest and vanilla. Mix together until smooth and pour into the flan case. Arrange the peach slices onto the mixture and bake for 45mins. Serve warm or cold.
